SRSCARS LLC (“SRSCARS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect through SRSCARS.com, our mobile and web experiences, our customer support channels (including Chatwoot), our social media pages, and any financing or appointment forms that link to this notice (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact details (name, email, phone number, preferred language) when you schedule a test drive, ask for pricing, or request financing information.
  • Vehicle preferences, trade-in details, and purchase timeline that you share through forms, chat, phone, or email.
  • Government-issued identifiers (e.g., driver’s license number) or income information when you voluntarily submit financing applications through us or our partners.
  • Documentation you upload or email (proof of insurance, paystubs, utility bills) to verify eligibility.
  • Support inquiries and conversation transcripts captured through our Chatwoot widget, SMS, Facebook Messenger, or phone calls.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time spent, and crash reports.
  • Approximate geolocation derived from your IP address to tailor inventory and language preferences.
  • Cookie identifiers, pixel data, and similar tracking information gathered by our analytics tools, embedded videos, Facebook technologies, and Chatwoot.

C. Information from Third Parties

  • Lender partners, credit bureaus, and verification services who confirm financing eligibility or underwriting decisions.
  • Marketing platforms (e.g., Facebook Lead Ads) when you choose to share your contact information with us through social media campaigns.
  • Public databases and vehicle history providers that help us verify inventory and title status.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services, including responding to inquiries, processing appointments, and managing vehicle sales.
  • Facilitate financing applications, obtain pre-approvals, and coordinate with lenders or warranty providers.
  • Deliver customer support through Chatwoot, email, SMS, and social media messaging.
  • Send administrative messages, transaction updates, and service announcements.
  • Deliver marketing communications, remarketing, and audience insights through Facebook Ads Manager or similar tools (where permitted by law).
  • Monitor website performance, detect fraud or security incidents, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations, law enforcement requests, and regulatory requirements (including record-keeping rules for vehicle sales).

3. How We Share Information

We may disclose personal information with:

  • Service providers that host our website, maintain databases, deliver email/text messages, analyze traffic, or provide analytics and security support.
  • Chatwoot, which provides live chat and conversational tools. Chat transcripts, browser metadata, and email addresses shared in chat are processed on Chatwoot’s infrastructure subject to their privacy terms.
  • Financing and compliance partners that review credit applications, verify identity, or generate loan agreements. We only share the details you submit for financing or legal compliance.
  • Marketing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google to run advertising campaigns or create lookalike audiences, subject to those platforms’ data policies.
  • Business transfers if we pursue a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale involving SRSCARS.
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may engage in data “sharing” as defined by certain state privacy laws (for example, using ads or analytics cookies). See Section 6 for opt-out choices.

4. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

We and our partners use cookies and related technologies to operate and customize the Services:

  • Strictly necessary cookies keep the site secure, maintain session state, and balance traffic.
  • Performance and analytics cookies help measure traffic patterns, popular inventory, and feature usage.
  • Functional cookies remember preferences such as recently viewed vehicles.
  • Advertising and social media pixels, including Facebook Pixel, track campaign performance, retarget visitors, and build aggregated insights. These partners may combine cookie data with their own records according to their policies.
  • Chatwoot script places first-party cookies or local storage tokens so we can recognize returning visitors and maintain conversation context.

You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or platform controls (e.g., Facebook Ad Preferences). Doing so may limit certain features.

5. Marketing Communications and Texting

With your consent (where required), we send marketing emails, text messages, and push notifications about vehicles, promotions, or events. You can opt out at any time by following unsubscribe instructions, replying STOP to SMS, or contacting us at [email protected]. Transactional and service-related messages may still arrive (e.g., appointment reminders, financing updates).

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Email or SMS opt-out: Use the tools described in Section 5.
  • Cookie controls: Adjust browser settings, install advertising opt-out extensions, or use the Network Advertising Initiative/DAA opt-out tools.
  • Chatwoot preferences: You may request deletion of chat transcripts by contacting us at [email protected].
  • Access, update, or delete: Email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will verify your identity before fulfilling the request. Authorized agents may submit requests when permitted by law.
  • California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah residents: Depending on your state, you may request to know, delete, correct, or opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context advertising. Use the contact methods above or call us at (786) 254-4900.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations (such as automotive record-keeping and finance regulations), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may anonymize or aggregate data for analytics after it is no longer needed in identifiable form.

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including TLS encryption for data in transit, role-based access controls, and secure hosting providers. No system is perfectly secure; please contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized activity.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Services are intended for adults and not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information to us, please contact [email protected] so we can delete it.

10. International Users

SRSCARS operates primarily in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you agree that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may link to third-party sites, embedded videos, financing portals, or insurance providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy notices before submitting information.
